Who are the founders of Burrbaby?
Burrbaby was founded by Isabel and Wyatt, two parents who, when starting their family, found few convenient, cost-effective, and plastic-free options for storing and feeding breastmilk.
Isabel holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, public health certifications, and has experience in pediatric care. Wyatt holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry. These credentials help inform their decisions when designing Burrbaby's products.
Why was Burrbaby started?
Burrbaby was started to challenge the norms set by plastic baby bottle and breastmilk storage companies while also providing a better solution than other glass bottles currently available. Isabel and Wyatt saw a need for a safer, more sustainable, and more convenient solution for parents, so they created Burrbaby.
They knew glass was the only option they felt comfortable with for breastmilk storage and baby bottles when starting their own family. They avoided plastic in as many areas of their lives as possible, and when it came to their children's health, nothing came before that.
However, the glass products available at the time were less than satisfactory, so they created Burrbaby to give all parents a safe solution they actually wanted to use, rather than one they just felt obligated to use.

Usage and Tips
How do I use Burrbaby breast milk storage containers and bottles?
Our glass breast milk storage are designed to be easy to use.
Simply fill your container with breast milk, place the silicone seal inside the lid, secure the stainless-steel lid on the container for storage, and place the sealed jar inside the bamboo organization box. The bamboo organization box can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer.
When it's time for a feed, you can warm the milk right in the glass container. If you have the time, it's preferable to do a gentle thaw of your frozen milk in the refrigerator. Then, place the sealed container in a warm bowl of water or place it under running water.
If needed, you can place a frozen container of breast milk right into a bowl of warm water or run it under warm water to use faster. We recommend not using hot water on frozen breast milk. Our containers almost never break, but as with any glass, going from frozen to extreme heat increases the likelihood of cracks.
Then, swap the storage lid for our bottle conversion nipple to effortlessly transform the jar into a feeding bottle.
Try to avoid placing breastmilk in very hot water, boiling water, or the microwave, as these can damage the quality of the milk and potentially the glass.
Can I use a bottle warmer with my Burrbaby products?
You can! Here are a few things to consider:
Ensure your bottle warmer is wide enough. Burrbaby bottles are 2.75 inches (70mm) wide, so keep that in mind when selecting your bottle warmer.
Glass warms up faster than plastic and silicone which is very convenient. However, this means you might need to use a lower setting on your warmer than it recommends.
The glass might feel warmer than the milk inside, so gently swirl the milk to distribute the warmth before feeding.
How do I turn my storage containers into bottles?
Our Bottle Conversion Nipples are designed to quickly transform your Burrbaby storage jars into feeding bottles. Each kit includes a 304 food-grade, rust-proof stainless steel band and a wide, natural nipple. The nipple is dual ventilated to help prevent colic and gas.
To assemble your bottle, just push the nipple through the steel band, unscrew the storage lid, and replace it with the bottle conversion lid. Your glass storage jar is now a feeding bottle!
If the nipple lid seems to "slip" when you tighten it, separate the silicone nipple from the steel ring, and reassemble the nipple. This should fix it.
If you have a hard time getting the threads to catch onto the nipple lid, try holding the bottle conversion nipple level over the glass container and gently twisting back and forth until you can feel the threads catch.
You can also use these lids to turn any small mouth Mason jar into a feeding bottle! Pour your milk into your Mason jars, screw on the feeding lid, and you're ready.
Can the same lids and nipples be used for the 3.5oz and 7.5oz containers?
Yes, our lids and nipples are interchangeable and fit both the 3.5oz and 7.5oz containers.
Care & Maintenance
How should I clean my Burrbaby products?
Burrbaby products were designed to be easy to take apart and clean.
Separate all components (nipples from steel bands, silicone seal from storage lids) and rinse after use.
Wash and scrub with warm, soapy water. We prefer hand washing over the dishwasher since the dishwasher can sometimes leave a residue, but you can place on the top shelf of the dishwasher if you prefer. However, the nipple and silicone sealing ring should only be hand washed due to the heat of the dishwasher.
You may sterilize if desired. We recommend steam sterilization.
Hand dry all components and place them on a drying rack.
The bamboo box should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth and air-dried, as it is not dishwasher safe.
How should I store Burrbaby products when not in use?
You can store the clean and dry Burrbaby jars in the bamboo box or any dry and clean area. It is highly recommended to store all containers with their components separated. So, unscrew lids from jars, take nipples out from their feeding lids, etc., to ensure everything is completely dry.
Are Burrbaby glass storage containers safe to freeze?
Yes, Burrbaby glass jars are freezer safe. However, to prevent cracking, leave about a half inch (about halfway between the start and end of the threads) of space at the top of the jar to allow for the food's expansion as it freezes.
When thawing, warm water is perfectly fine, but try to avoid taking frozen jars straight to very hot water. They are very durable, but this keeps us extra safe.
Can I sterilize Burrbaby products?
Yes, the glass containers and stainless steel lids products can be sterilized. We recommend steam sterilization as it is very effective, less stressful to the components, and the least messy.
To sterilize the bamboo box, simply wipe down with a sterilizing wipe if needed. Try to keep it as dry as possible.

If you decide they aren't for you and your baby, we offer a 60-day full return policy with a 100% guarantee on all items. You may return or exchange any product within 60 days of purchase, and all items are eligible for return or exchange.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

I received a damaged or defective product. What should I do?
We manually inspect all products to make sure our quality control is the highest it can be. With that said, mistakes happen. If you receive a damaged or defective product, we will replace it at no charge.
Please get in touch with us and send a photo of the defect to team@burrbaby.com to report the issue and initiate a replacement.
Orders & Shipping
How long will it take for my order to ship?
We try our best to ensure orders are shipped in under 48 hours and typically delivered within 3-5 business days, depending on your location. Upon shipping, a tracking number will be provided to you via email and/or text message.
What if my order is lost or damaged during shipping?
If a package is lost during transit, you should file a claim with USPS/UPS and a police report should be filed if it has been stolen. Local USPS offices work with the receiving party, so unfortunately there isn't anything we can do.
If unresolved, please contact us and we will do everything we can to resolve the situation. If your order arrives damaged, please inform us at team@burrbaby.com so we may assist you in resolving the issue.
Do you offer international shipping?

What is Burrbaby's holiday shipping policy?
During high-volume shipping periods, such as holidays, please place your order in advance and allow for additional processing and shipping time. Specific holiday shipping guidelines will be posted on our website as applicable.
